Kiara “K. Medulla” Nicholas is an Atlanta-based multidisciplinary artist, designer, and curator whose work reimagines Black identity through Afrofuturism, spirituality, and collective memory. She earned her BFA in Graphic Design from The University of West Georgia and an Associate of Arts from Gordon State College. Her Afrofuturism practice weaves a diverse range of mixed media, including chalk pastels, acrylics, fibers, organic and non-organic materials, and resin. Artworks by the artist were showcased across Atlanta like Metropolitan State College, Alpharetta Arts Center, and historic Emma Darnell Aviation Museum & Conference Center.

As a curator, she views art as a tool for connection, empowerment, and change within the community. Medulla co-founded Sip Museum in the neighborhood Adamsville in Atlanta, Ga. This once family-owned building was a hub for art showcases, podcasts, cultural gatherings, and holistic events. K. Medulla has collaborated with organizations and brands like non-profit The Chad Livsey Project, Atlanta Public Schools, Rap Snacks, Ape Water, and Divine Libations, while connecting emerging artists with community and entrepreneurial opportunities.
