MODA: Museum of Design Atlanta (2015)

Role: Design Intern & Exhibit Support
As a Design Intern at MODA, I supported the museum’s design team through exhibition preparation, workshop programming, and public engagement. This role built my early understanding of museum operations, exhibition standards, and design workflows.
Assisted with exhibition preparation including display arrangement, object placement, and spatial setup
Provided visitor engagement as a gallery docent, interpreting design concepts and guiding tours
Designed marketing materials for workshops and public programs such as Legos N’ Brews and Streets Alive
Redesigned the museum’s volunteer handbook for improved clarity and brand alignment
Photographed exhibitions, events, and workshops for documentation and promotional use
Assisted staff during workshops and educational activities involving families and youth
Tools: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Canon DSLR, Gallery installation tools, Mounting supplies, File management systems, Printers & Scanners
