MODA: Museum of Design Atlanta (2015)

Location: Atlanta, GA
Role: Design Intern & Exhibit Support

As a Design Intern at MODA, I supported the museum’s design team through exhibition preparation, workshop programming, and public engagement. This role built my early understanding of museum operations, exhibition standards, and design workflows.

  • Assisted with exhibition preparation including display arrangement, object placement, and spatial setup

  • Provided visitor engagement as a gallery docent, interpreting design concepts and guiding tours

  • Designed marketing materials for workshops and public programs such as Legos N’ Brews and Streets Alive

  • Redesigned the museum’s volunteer handbook for improved clarity and brand alignment

  • Photographed exhibitions, events, and workshops for documentation and promotional use

  • Assisted staff during workshops and educational activities involving families and youth

    Tools: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Canon DSLR, Gallery installation tools, Mounting supplies, File management systems, Printers & Scanners
